As they immerse their hands in rippling water or cascading sand, they can feel the vibrations of the music reverberating through their fingertips, creating a visceral and immersive sensation that transcends the limitations of auditory perception. Moreover, this innovative approach fosters a sense of inclusivity and empowerment, allowing hearing-impaired children to actively participate in musical activities alongside their peers. By providing a tactile and visual representation of music, it not only enhances their enjoyment of the experience but also encourages creativity, exploration, and self-expression.
This is the structure of the human cochlea, which demonstrates that hearing and environmental sounds are not only vital for individual survival but also play an important role in the ecosystem.
Resonance
This project is based on Albert Mehrabian's groundbreaking research, which revealed that creatures' communication on the earth comprises 55% feelings and attitudes in facial expression, 38% paralinguistic features, such as tone of voice, gesture and posture, and only 7% verbal content. I explored the diversity of communication delves into the complexity and diversity of biological interactions, revealing layers of communication that go far beyond spoken language. I used 10 visual illustrations to present my understanding of various communication of gen-z and in nature.
